Privacy policy

The short version

This site sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and runs no analytics or tracking of any kind. There is no advertising pixel, no session recording and no third-party script watching what you read. The only personal information we hold is what you choose to send us.

What we collect, and only this

The contact form

If you use the form on the contact page, we receive the name, email address, company and message you type. We use it to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list because you asked us a question.

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the commercial relationship or the prospect of one is live, and for up to two years after the last contact. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Server logs

The site is hosted on a content delivery network, which keeps standard access logs containing IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs and user agents. These are generated by the host, retained briefly for security and operational purposes, and are not used to build any profile of you. We do not aggregate or analyse them.

Fonts

Typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. This is the only third party this site contacts. We are naming it because most sites do not, and because it is the one place where visiting this page discloses something to somebody other than us.

The calculators

The tools under /tools run entirely in your browser. Numbers you enter are held in the page address so a result can be shared by link, and are not transmitted to us, not stored, and not logged. Close the tab and they are gone. If you copy a result link and send it to somebody, the figures travel in that URL, which is worth knowing before you share one containing real commercial numbers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to our processing it, and to receive a copy. Email contact@sigmalogicai.com and we will answer within one month. There is no charge and no form to fill in.

Where we process the data of people in the EU or UK, our lawful basis for replying to an enquiry is that it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and for keeping records afterwards, our legitimate interest in running the business. You have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Email we send

We do not run a newsletter. If we contact you commercially without you asking first, that message will identify us, say why you received it, and carry a working one-click unsubscribe that we honour immediately. Reply "stop" and that works too.

Changes

If we add analytics, wire the contact form to a third-party handler, or start any processing not described above, this page changes first and the date at the top changes with it.
